Dogs will run against a stopwatch, one dog at a time, on a straight 30-yard (90 feet) course. you will run your dog twice to get an overall added up time. When your First Dash is complete the line up will start over and you will run your second Dash. One handler will hold the dog at the start line and the second handler will bait the dog past the finish line. The stopwatch starts when an assistant judge near the start line will yell, "On your mark, get set, GO!" The stopwatch will start on the word, "GO". The judge will stop the time after the DOG crosses the finish line.
Dogs will run against a stopwatch, one dog at a time, on a straight 80-yard (240 feet) course. same rules and procedure applies from the 40 yard Dash.
Decoy may wear either a suit or a sleeve depending on the dog's training. the competition bite will be done from a distance of at least 30 yards. You will do this repeated a total of two times. Once you’re finished with your first bite the lineup will repeat giving you two sends. Each dog will start from the same spot, which must be marked on the field. When everyone is ready the decoy will get the dogs attention with pressure (yelling, shacking a stick, a jug of rocks ect). The decoy may shout, scream, or use any traditional method to pressure the dog. After the bite the decoy will drive the dog very briefly, then lockup. The dog must stick to his bite during the brief drive to complete this event. Dogs will be judged on impact, how hard they hit the decoy, i.e. how much pain they were able to inflict. After each bite each decoy will give the judge a number from one to ten, ten being the greatest impact, to rank the dogs. If there is an “OUT” attempt, they handler must stay at the line and wait till the decoy locks up. At that point then the “out command must be given. Additional 1 point will be given to the dogs score. The dog has three seconds to out, and either the handler can recall the dog or pick up the dog. The dog may not Re-engage or re-bite the decoy to have the out count.
May be done with a sled, a cart or a rail system. Each dog is given 3 turns in a row with the cart or sled. There is a 60-second time limit for each of the 3 pulls. Baiting is allowed with nonliving food or protection equipment. Handler may stand anywhere on the pull track but may not touch the dog. Leashes are not allowed. The handler may increase the minimum increment within reason, but he may not decrease it.
Sport dog Temperament test is a breed based temperament evaluation to certify the stability of your dogs natural state of mind. We want to provide a test that allows those of other breeds to test without discrimination on the genetics of a breeds biology. For example, a Lab should be externally happy with strangers while an Fila may not allow strangers to approach without a loof. Also, acknowledging that shyness, outright aggression is not a desirable behavior for any breed. Absorbing the natural awareness of the dogs to determine a threat or friendly behavior. Each judge is well rounding in each breeds behavior standard.
Obedience will have three levels you can compete in and will account for the obedience required for the protection. Each level of obedience will gradually get more difficult as you go hire in level. You must complete the first level to continue to the next level of obedience title. Obedience is a basic heel position to the left or right leg of the handler. Looking for control and understanding of the position and command. Obedience is about basic control between the handler and dog. There is no exact description of the heel position as long as its clear the dog is in the heel position of the handler. Commands are allowed at every position change or direction change. Obedience can be done with flat collar or chock chain on dead ring. No E-collars, Pinch collars, harness or muzzles allowed. Pattern of a basic ‘L’ Shape for the obedience must include a sit, down, recall, left and right turn.
Obedience 1 – On Leash
Obedience 2 – Off leash
Obedience 3 – Off Leash with Distraction.
